The HSLC/AHM/HSSLC examination 2021 has been finally cancelled today on June 18, 2021 (Friday) after an important meeting held between State Education Department, Health Department, SEBA, AHSEC, AASU, ABSU, Secondary Teachers’ Union and other stakeholders. The Health Department in a presentation mentioned that the age group between 0-18 years have adversely affected. Although in some districts the COVID positivity rate is below 2%, but some district’s positivity rate is above 4% to 5%. So in this situation, it is not suitable period for the students to attend the examination.
The Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu in a press meet today announced that due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation of the state, it is not possible to conduct the Board Examination 2021 this year and hence the HSLC/AHM/HSSLC Examination 2021 has been cancelled.
The Education Minister states that for the result and marking system, two committee (one for HSLC and one for HSSLC) will be constitute tomorrow and these two committees will decide about the formula of the marking system. He added that within one week these two committees will give a record base formula on the basis of the record available in the school and the examination boards i.e. SEBA and AHSEC. It will be declared within seven days.
The result of the Class 10 (HSLC) and Class 12 (AHSEC) will be declared within July 31, 2021.
The Education Minister further added that no decision has been taken to qualify all the students. He said that on the record available in the school and respective Board, the result will be announced. It will not be subjected.
Answering a reporter about the future of the students regarding admission to the next classes, he said that there is no need to worry about the admission, because there are many Government Schools and Colleges where students can take admission for further studies.
